Kathy Fusco
Kathy Fusco is an Emmy-nominated comedy director and writer who started her career as a humble talent intern at SNL, where she learned valuable skills like how to order $200 worth of Taco Bell for Garth Brooks.
Kathy then took those skills to Comedy Central where she became the VP of Brand Creative, leading the in-house advertising team and working closely with network talent like Amy Schumer, Abbi Jacobson & Ilana Glazer, Nick Kroll, and Eric Cartman. Thankfully, none of them ever asked for an absurd amount of Taco Bell, but if they had, she totally would have made it happen. At Comedy Central, she wrote and directed award-winning spots for The Roast of Justin Bieber, South Park, Kroll Show, Reno 911 and The Roast of Rob Lowe (for which she earned a Clio).
As a commercial director, Kathy has shot campaigns for brands like Coke, Verizon, Snickers and Xfinity, and she has collaborated with an impressive roster of celebrity talent including Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers, Andy Cohen, Bowen Yang, Jeff Goldblum, Paul Giamatti and Awkwafina.
In 2023, Kathy directed and co-wrote her first short film, Catherine & Michael (starring Molly Ringwald), which won Best Comedy at seven festivals including the New York Short Film Festival and the Academy Award qualifying New Hampshire Film Festival.
