Stewart Hendler is an award-winning feature film, television, and commercial director known for his bold, emotionally grounded storytelling across genres. He has directed high-profile campaigns for brands including Porsche, Jeep, and Budweiser over five continents, garnering recognition including an AICP award and Emmy nomination.

In long-form, Hendler directed the cult favorite feature film Sorority Row featuring Carrie Fisher as a shogun wielding house mother, the multi award winnin Halo: Forward Unto Dawn limited, and dozens of episodes of streaming.

A graduate of USC film school, Hendler’s first short film premiered at Sundance, where it won the Online Audience Award, and his recent short film Query has just begun a run in major festivals. As Creative Innovation Lead at Overture Studios, he is pioneering new approaches to storytelling through AI and emerging production technologies—always with a filmmaker’s eye for story, emotion, and craft.
